Admissions

The classes for every academic year will commence in the first working day of June. .Registration for admission to all classes for the next academic year commences on 1st of December every year. Admission registration can be done through our website,www.saraswathyvidyanikethan.org.

Admission Procedure for Classes I to X:

All students will have to appear for an Aptitude Test in English, Mathematics (and Science for Grade VIII and IX) and Second language to qualify for admission. As a matter of policy we do not admit students in Grade X. The Aptitude Test and Personal Interview will be held in the school on any day convenient between March and June every year. Admission will be confirmed only after assessing the performance of the child in the Aptitude Test and a Personal Interview with the respective Coordinators of the Class. On confirmation of admission, parents will be required to submit a Conduct Certificate from the existing school along with a Recommendation letter. The question papers will be based on the general syllabi, not on the current textbooks. Kindly note that the child should be at least 6years, for admission in Std I. We do admit children during the middle of the academic year in the same class in which the child is studying in the previous school. It is very important that both parents of the student should visit the school for signing the documents and also ascertain the facilities offered by the school. Please note that the school does not encourage nomination of guardian for our students. Only non-resident Indian and foreign parents of students are permitted to specify one guardian for their children. Only parents (or authorized guardian in case of non-resident Indian and foreign students) whose name is entered in the school records at the time of admission, will be permitted to take the students out for mid-term break / vacation / outing etc. Parents of other students, family friends and local people cannot be considered as guardians. Our aim is to see that every child is happy once he/she joins the school and we expect the same from the parents also. We will not admit any child unless the father/mother or a responsible person from the family visits the school.
